Privacy Policy

Data Plan is built around a simple principle: your usage data belongs to you. This page explains what we store, where, and why.

What stays on your device

Data Plan measures usage by reading the network counters iOS already keeps for your device’s interfaces. Those readings, your plans, your limits, and your cycle history are stored in a database on your iPhone and shared only between the app and its widgets. None of it is uploaded anywhere.

There is no account. You never sign in, and we have no server holding your usage.

Third-party services we rely on

We keep this list short on purpose. Each service below receives only what it needs to do its job, and none of it includes your usage data.

RevenueCat — Data Plan uses RevenueCat to process subscription purchases through the App Store and to collect anonymous metrics about purchases and revenue. This information cannot be linked back to an individual user. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

TelemetryDeck — We use TelemetryDeck to understand how the app is used in aggregate — how often features are opened, which screens are visited, that kind of thing. TelemetryDeck is built for privacy: it only receives anonymous, salted signals and never identifies you personally. See the TelemetryDeck privacy policy.

Sentry — We use Sentry to receive crash reports and error diagnostics so we can fix bugs quickly. Sentry receives technical information about the crash (stack trace, device model, OS version) but nothing about your plans or usage. See the Sentry privacy policy.

WinWinKit — Powers the affiliate program. WinWinKit receives an anonymous identifier and the affiliate code you enter or share, so rewards can be attributed. It receives nothing about your plans or usage. See the WinWinKit privacy policy.

What we don’t do

Deleting your data

Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app removes your plans, limits, and usage history along with it. There is no copy for us to delete.
